For My Friend

Hi friends....I'm back today with a card for the Sketch Saturday Challenge  #284.  I tried to stay true to the sketch...the image I wanted to use was more square so I matted it to make it work.  The sketch is here:

My cardbase is GinaK Pure Luxury Heavy Base Weight cardstock and is layered with a DP from Stampin' Up....I don't have the name of it because it was a scrap.  The same with the cardstock I used to layer my image...I think it may be Certainly Celery but I'm not sure.  The image is a pre-colored digi from The Paper Shelter and the greeting is from Penny Black Eloquence.  I love that little dog .... it is a Cavalier Spaniel, which is what my friend has that will undergo a double mastectomy next week.  She had hoped to get it scheduled this past week but all of the surgeons, anesthesiologist, and hospital couldn't get it done.  I have been making cards to send her every day or so to give her support and keep her spirits up.  She is a real trooper and an exceptional individual.  So with that said, I hope you like my interpretation of the sketch....will be back later...
